I’m Christian Rincke and I have a clear mission with this blog: to reach out to the community and show that Powder Metallurgy has infinitely more to offer than just porous pieces of steel. I want to share our journey as we delve into the exciting opportunities for future applications and products.

I joined GKN in 2003 and am now part of the Advanced Products initiative. In addition to being Global Sales Director, I am the “godfather” of our production locations in Bonn and Radevormwald which together we call “German Small Segment”. My earlier positions at GKN include Key Account Manager and Global Marketing Director. Previously I worked for ThyssenKrupp AG and I hold a university diploma in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen.
